The perfect photos we need to create
your fantasy portrait.
As I said on the last page, if you have good original photographic portraits in digital format you can send them to us so that our editing specialists can produce your fantasy photos. Otherwise I can take the photographs myself. However if you live too far away I can recommend a photographer who can prepare them following our instructions.

Format: PSD preferably with a digital copy in JPG or PNG both at least 6000 x 4000 pixels unedited;
Camera: preferably DSLR or similar, (like a Canon 90D), or DMF, (like Hasselblad);
How many different photos are required: minimum 5, maximum 10,
Framing: head and shoulders (at least two photos),
head and upper body (at least two photos),
full body length (at least one photo),
facing the camera (at least two photos),
face turned 45 degrees away from the camera (at least two photos);
Clothing: best if it's simple, for example a t-shirt with no logo or pattern;
Hair: two natural photos as you normally wear your hair, the others clear of the face;
Background: preferably a solid light color, white or light grey are best,
however we can accept other simple backgrounds;
Makeup: simple or none, normally without bright lipstick or heavy highlighter;
Lighting: natural, without direct sunlight, (or using professional photographic flash if in the studio),
with the correct fixed Kelvin color balance setting the same for all photos;
(and this colour balance restriction is the reason why we normally cannot use photos from a smartphone).
Seven problem photos we cannot accept:
Camera-top fixed direct flash: No
Selfies : No
Photos taken through a mirror: No
Photos taken by someone under 18 ans: No
Official school or college photos: No
Photos where there is someone else or an animal with you in the photo: No
Photos with watermarks: No
Smartphone photos: Normally no (but we can look at them to check)
We can only use photos from a professional photographer
with the permission of that professional photographer.

If you do not have a good quality original photo, I offer portrait sessions of up to thirty minutes (and portfolio sessions for models, actors and dancers up to an hour) which are done free of charge ... and there is absolutely no obligation to buy anything if you do not wish to.
I ask that you pay for all ancillary services (e.g. a makeup artist), round trip travel expenses of more than 40 km (from Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche 87500 where I am based), all incidentals and any post-production retouching, as well as, of course, any photos you choose to purchase.
